11561 dental implants
Our
11561 dental implants look, feel, and function like real teeth. And that's no accident. They have been designed to mimic real teeth as closely as possible. With proper care, they can last a lifetime. So why settle for older and more imperfect options like a bridge or dentures when you can take advantage of the well deserved popularity of implants here at Long Beach Dental Arts, PC?
There are two parts to our 11561 dental implants? The key component, and the one that other full-tooth restorations cannot duplicate, is the cylindrical titanium post that is a stand in for the root your old tooth had. With a root, you have a reliable foundation for your new tooth, and one that preserves your facial contours and keeps your gum and bone tissue from atrophying. The post is surgically placed in your jaw, and your bone then grows around it, ultimately fusing to it. At that point, impressions are taken so that the dental lab can then create a precisely fitting crown made of tooth-colored material. The crown is cemented to the post, and that completes our
11561 dental implants. Fixed bridges require that you lose material from your neighboring teeth in order to anchor it properly, but implants are completely self-sustaining. Dentures don't affect your other teeth, but the adhesive that keeps them in can be messy to use, and dentures may still move around, making them less than 100% dependable when you speak or chew. Implants are totally reliable. You can brush them, floss between them and your other teeth, and your smile will look so natural that it is virtually impossible for anyone to pick out the implant from your other teeth.
